Angie Dean is a glamorous, sophisticated and versatile Vocalist / Pianist / Songwriter. She has a soulful, smooth, velvet voice which enables her to perform a wide range of styles from Jazz Standards and Blues through to the latest pop songs. Angie also sings in French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. Through her experience, sensitivity, and friendly manner she can read any audience and create the ambience and mood of the evening.
 
Angie Dean grew up in the seaside fishing town in South Australia called Port Lincoln and then moved to Adelaide to study music. A graduate of the Elder Conservatorium at the University of Adelaide, Angie completed a Bachelor of Music in Performance, where she majored in piano and studied singing as her second instrument. Angie also completed her A.Mus.A., and studied Jazz at the SACAE plus completed Certificates in Accompanying, Commercial Music, and Instrumental Teaching. She has worked extensively as a Vocal and Piano Teacher at Schools and Tertiary Instituitions as well as privately.
Angie studied Voiceover techniques with Alan White, and is now working at top recording studios in North Sydney for Websound and On-Hold Messages, TV and Radio commercials.
 
Based now in Sydney, currently living at Bondi Beach, Angie Dean is in constant demand as a solo performer, and also in her duo, trio and 4 piece band. Angie specializes in performing at 5 Star Hotels, which has included appearing at the Intercontinental Sydney, The Sheraton On The Park Sydney, The Stamford Plaza Double Bay, The Shangri-La Sydney, The Four Seasons Sydney, Star City Sydney Hotel & Casino, The Soffitel Wentworth Sydney, The Marriott Hotel Sydney, The Hilton Sydney. Interstate at the The Reef Hotel, Hamilton Island, The Sheraton Hotel Brisbane, The Beaufort Hotel Darwin, The Hyatt Regency Adelaide, The Adelaide Casino and The Hilton Adelaide. Angie has appeared on the Good Morning Australia show and has worked Overseas in Asia at The Regent Bangkok Hotel and The Dusit Thani Hotel. Angie performs regularly every month for the Lord Mayor of Sydney at the Sydney Town Hall.
